• General maintenance update for all countries
• Austria: Address Ranges for about 400,000 inhabitants were added; among others for the municipalities of Deutsch-Wagram, Litschau, Langenzersdorf, Himberg, Hinterstoder, Kremsmünster, Bad Hall, Attersee, Attnang-Puchheim, Judenburg, Zeltweg and Spielberg bei Knittelfeld.
• Benelux: Address ranges are now available for an area covering almost 22 million inhabitants, including full coverage in Luxemburg and the Netherlands. Important POI categories are restaurant (9,851), petrol station (5,776), hotel (3,629) and auto dealerships (4,690). In the Benelux all Ford dealers were added. In the largest cities in the Benelux (Brussels, Amsterdam, Rotterdam) commuter rail station POIs were added. In the Netherlands Citroën and Mercedes dealers were updated.
• Czech Republic: The Czech database contains 11 municipalities including the capital of the Czech Republic, Praha, in its municipal boundaries in full detail plus the primary connector roads of the Czech Republic with "Kraj-cities" (= county capitals). The population covered by detailed maps is now 2.14 million inhabitants. Important POI categories are Petrol station (1,378), Restaurant (681) and Hotel (588). Address ranges have been added for cities Brno, Ostrava and Plzen. Address ranges are now available for 2.1 million inhabitants. Commuter Rail stations added for the city of Prague.
• Denmark: now at full 100% detailed coverage including 100% address ranges. Commuter Rail Station POIs have been added to the database in the Copenhagen region.
• Finland: the municipalities of Espoo, Kauniainen, Vantaa, Helsinki, Tampere, Kerava, Kirkkonummi, Tuusula, Järvenpää, Sibbo, Pornainen and Porvoo are included as detailed coverage. The detailed coverage consists of 1.35 million inhabitants, 3,484 km2, and 12 municipalities. The municipalities of Kerava, Kirkkonummi, Tuusula, Järvenpää, Sibbo, Pornainen and Porvoo, all are situated in county Etelä-Suomi, have been upgraded to detailed coverage. Most important categories are: Hotels (204), Petrol Stations (643) and restaurant (459). Implementation of Commuter Rail Station POIs Europe has been completed for Helsinki, total 68 stations. Address ranges now available for 100% of inhabitants.
• France: now at full 100% detailed coverage. In total there are 331,335 POIs available, which is a 10% increase compared to last year. Important categories are Restaurants (28,562), Hotels (15,033) and Petrol stations (14,202). Mercedes-Benz car Dealers have been updated. 189 Ford dealers have been implemented in the database.
• Germany: additional and updated address ranges to existing 100% coverage. In total there are 218,488 POIs available in the database. Important categories are Hotel (17,842), Petrol Station (13,456) and Restaurant (39,346). BMW, Mercedes and Mini dealerships were updated. Ford dealerships were added. Petrol Stations “GO” were updated. Several new roundabouts have been added.
• Greece: detailed coverage in all 115 municipalities of Greater Athens with full naming in transcribed English. Connector road from Athens to Patras and connector road from Athens to Bulgarian border via Larissa and Thessaloniki are present.
• Italy: 80% detailed coverage with address ranges for more than 29.7 million inhabitants. For this release 128,854 destinations are present in 44 categories. Important POI categories are petrol station (19,914), restaurant (21,074) and hotel (9,086). New municipalities upgraded to detailed coverage in the provinces of Alessandria, Como, Cuneo, Mantova, Novara, Varese, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Bologna, Forlì-Cesena, Modena, Pordenone, Ravenna, Vicenza, Campobasso, Chieti, Livorno, Lucca, Massa-Carrara, Perugia, Pisa, Viterbo, Benevento, Brindisi, Catanzaro, Cosenza, Foggia, Napoli, Vibo Valentia, Cagliari, Palermo, Siracusa, Trapani.
• Norway: In this release 4,343 POIs are available in 37 categories, including Named Places. Important POI categories are restaurant (412), hotel (241), and petrol station (905). 180 commuter rail station POIs have been added this release. Volvo automobile dealers have been updated.
• Portugal: Mafra is now detailed coverage, offering an enhanced coverage within its cultural landmarks like Convento de Mafra, Tapada de Mafra or the piscatorial village Ericeira. Around Porto metro area, Gondomar, one of the biggest cities within Distrito of Porto is also included as detailed coverage. Gondomar is also known by its beaches along Rio Douro and typical villages like Lomba. Address ranges are available for about 4.3 million inhabitants. Important POI categories are Petrol station (1,001), Restaurant (425), Hotel (257). Updated Automobile Dealership POIs for Mercedes-Benz and Peugeot. Inclusion of Automobile Dealership POIs for Ford. Inclusion of Commuter Rail Stations POIs in Lisboa Metropolitan Area (303 POIs added).
• Republic of Ireland: Major roads added, N7 Kingwoods Interchange and phase 1 of the Dublin Outer Ring Road. In this release 4,897 POIs are available, in 35 categories. Most important categories are Hotel (387), Petrol Station (1,756) and Restaurant (303).
• Spain: 57% of inhabitants now covered at full detail, including 25.1 million inhabitants with address ranges. Detailed coverage of 23.3 million inhabitants (22.6 with address ranges). This includes all main Spanish cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla, Málaga, Zaragoza, Bilbao, San Sebastián, all Mallorca island, Granada, Alicante, Córdoba, Valladolid, Salamanca, Pamplona, Santander, A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Badajoz, Ciudad Real, Zamora, among many others. Autonomía of Andalucía is fully covered Comunidad de Madrid and Álava are full detailed coverage. Full detailed coverage for all cities with more than 25,000 inhabitants (except Ceuta and Melilla) and 99% of cities over 10,000 inhabitants as well. All Spain (Peninsula, Balearic Islands and Canary Islands) is included and reachable at least as a complete inter-town coverage with connecting road network to all
municipalities, except Ceuta, Melilla. In this release 71,342 POIs are available in 45 categories. Important POI categories are: restaurant (5,834), petrol station (4,927) and hotel (2,142). Added almost 600 Commuter Rail Stations POIs. Added New Airport, “Aeropuerto de Logroño” in Agoncillo, La Rioja. Updated Automobile Dealership Mercedes and Peugeot.
• Sweden: The complete municipality of Ulricehamn has got detailed coverage. Collector road network updated in the municipalities of Simrishamn, Ystad, Tomelilla and Sjöbo. Address ranges have been added to 192 municipalities from the existing source. With that we have 100% address ranges in Sweden. For this release 19,290 POIs are available in 41 categories. Important POI categories are: petrol station (2,628), restaurant (3,373) and hotel (954). Commuter Rail Station POIs have been implemented in Greater Stockholm.
• Switzerland: The database contains 53,011 POIs in 42 categories. Important POI categories are Restaurant (21,221), Hotel (5,084), Petrol station (3,707). In total 141 National Importance POIs are in the database. All Ford garages have been added as new car dealers. 14 cities (inhabitants: 47,859; surface: 111.5 km2) have been updated (including POIs). 100% Address Range coverage has been reached for this release.
• UK: full detailed coverage for Northern Ireland has been added. 90,000 POIs were added for the whole coverage in new and newly populated categories, including restaurants, pubs, ATM locations, petrol stations and hotels. Address ranges available for 99.7% of inhabitants in Great Britain. The following major road schemes have been added: A1 (M) Hook Moor to Brotherton (new geometry); A2 New junction added at Ebbsfleet (future location of international Eurostar rail station); A21 Lamberhurst Bypass opened and added to database; A327/B3270 Shinfield, Addition of Black Boy junction improvements; A4046 Cwm Bypass; A907 Tullibody Bypass; in Gloucester, South West Bypass (Castle Meads Section); in Rushden Town Centre to A6 Bypass Link Rd.
